Manage registry extract request (GDPR)


With the GDPR coming into force, an individual can today request an extract from a register from a municipality, authority or company. This register extract shows what information the organization has saved about the individual. When this information is to be sent, it is usually necessary to do so by letter. This becomes both costly and cumbersome. 


With SEFOS, the organization can instead address the individual via a secure message via SEFOS. The recipient must then first prove their identity via a valid e-ID in order to be able to access the information. 


+ The organization can reduce the burden on staff and reduce the postage costs that arise for communicating the information to individuals via letter.

+ The person requesting the extract from the register can receive faster feedback from the organization to which the request has been sent. 

+ The sender can see when the recipient has read the information.
